School Squad

The soccer clinic was engaging, professional and was enjoyed by all students in the class. The coaches provided fun activities that exposed the students to different soccer skills. They ensured all students were involved and at all times and created a fun environment where students felt comfortable to give everything a red hot go.

The Western Victorian Football Academy leaders were very professional, organised and approachable in how they presented the student workshop. They engaged students in a range of meaningful activities that allowed students of all abilities to participate. Their enthusiasm and passion for the game is to be commended and easily transferred to all students.

The soccer clinic held by The Western Victorian Football Academy came to Miners Rest Primary School to teach us about soccer. Their three instructors taught us about dribbling, kicking and passing and most importantly having fun. I believe the soccer clinic was an enjoyable activity and it is a great way to start or stay active. Have fun during the summer and over the holidays! I believe when people succeed it is because of hard work and that is what The WVFA has done to make not only me, but everyone to enjoy soccer.

Our school was very fortunate to have the Western Victorian Football Academy coaches run clinics last week. Students from Foundation to Year Six were given the opportunity to learn football skills in a fun and engaging manner. All of the football coaches that delivered the program at our school were professional, organised and enthusiastic. They developed a great rapport with the students and staff and were able to adapt their sessions depending on the skill level of the classes involved. We were very grateful to have the Western Victorian Football Academy run sessions at our school and would welcome them back any time in the future.
